Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other sources indicate highs in the upper 90s for Austin on September 9, driven by persistent southerly flow, clear to mostly sunny skies, and limited moisture that supports strong daytime heating without significant cloud cover or rainfall. This aligns with the market's emphasis on 98-99°F (41.5%) and 96-97°F (28.0%) brackets, reflecting above-average early-September conditions where historical highs near 93°F are exceeded by the current warm pattern. Heat indices could reach 105-110°F due to humidity, though any unexpected afternoon showers remain a low-probability cooling factor. Updated model runs over the next 48 hours will refine peak temperatures ahead of market resolution.
