Recent National Weather Service and local model consensus points to a cooler air mass arriving ahead of scattered thunderstorms, driving the market's tight clustering around 72-75°F for Denver's September 15 high. Afternoon convection and increased cloud cover are expected to limit daytime heating after recent warmer days in the upper 80s, with guidance from sources like Denver7 and the Denver Gazette centering near 72-75°F amid 15-40% precipitation chances. Steering winds and storm timing introduce modest uncertainty in peak values, while historical September variability underscores how even small shifts in frontal passage can alter maxima. Updated NWS forecast discussions and model runs overnight will likely refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
