Current National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble models indicate a typical early-September marine layer pattern for Los Angeles on September 13, with morning low clouds and fog giving way to sunshine and highs concentrated in the upper 70s to low 80s at official stations. This positioning favors the 78-79°F and 80-81°F bins as leading outcomes, reflecting the balance between onshore flow and daytime heating inland from the coast. Historical September averages near 76-82°F provide context, while the absence of strong offshore winds or anomalous warming keeps probabilities tightly clustered. Updated NWS model runs and morning observations on the 13th will refine the exact maximum before resolution.
