Current forecast models from NOAA and other sources indicate Atlanta will experience clear skies and light winds under a strong high-pressure ridge through September 1, supporting overnight lows in the low 70s°F—slightly above the 1991–2020 climatological average of 69°F. Recent model runs show minimal day-to-day shifts, with consensus favoring a minimum near 73–75°F rather than cooler readings that would require stronger radiational cooling or an unexpected frontal passage. Trader-implied probabilities cluster tightly around 72–75°F outcomes because short-term numerical weather prediction skill remains high this close to the event, yet small variations in dewpoint, cloud cover, or boundary-layer mixing can still alter the precise daily minimum by 2–3°F.
