Current forecast models from the National Weather Service and NOAA indicate Dallas will see a minimum temperature in the upper 70s to low 80s on September 9, driven by a stable high-pressure ridge limiting overnight cooling and daytime highs near seasonal norms of 90–95°F. Recent upper-air observations and ensemble guidance show minimal frontal influence or moisture return that could depress readings further, aligning with trader consensus around 78–83°F outcomes. Historical September climatology for the region places average daily lows near 73°F, yet persistent warmth this week has shifted implied probabilities upward, with any late-model cooling adjustments likely to influence resolution near the 78–79°F or 84–85°F thresholds.
