Ulf Prange leads the Oldenburg mayoral runoff market at 78% implied probability after placing first in the September 13, 2026, initial round with 33.2% of the vote. Jascha Rohr, backed jointly by the Greens and CDU as a non-partisan candidate, finished second at 30.5% and holds 16.5% odds for the September 27 runoff. The nine-candidate field produced no outright majority, advancing only the top two and sidelining candidates such as Heike Boldt and several independents at under 1%. Prange’s narrow edge, established SPD organization, and local council experience have shaped trader consensus for the head-to-head contest, while Rohr’s cross-party coalition support remains a key variable in the final ten days.
