Ulf Prange (SPD) leads the Oldenburg mayoral runoff market at 63.5% after topping the September 13 first round with 33.16% of the vote, ahead of Jascha Rohr at 30.54%. Rohr, running as a non-partisan candidate backed by Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and the CDU, advanced to the September 27 runoff alongside Prange, as no candidate reached an absolute majority among the nine contenders. Prange’s edge in the initial round, combined with his established local council experience and SPD organizational strength, has shaped trader consensus ahead of the decisive second ballot. Other listed candidates, including Heike Boldt (Die Linke) and several independents, received single-digit shares and hold negligible implied probabilities. The brief interval between rounds limits further major shifts, though turnout patterns and last-minute coalition signals could still influence the final outcome.
