**The Colima gubernatorial race for 2027 remains fragmented more than a year before voting, with trader prices reflecting high uncertainty across a broad field of declared and potential candidates.** Early polls from mid-2026 show Morena and its allies holding a structural edge in voter preference surveys, yet no single contender has consolidated support, leaving frontrunners such as Julia Licet Jiménez Angulo and César Yáñez Centeno clustered in the low-to-mid 40s while a long tail of names trades below 10%. Party nomination processes, coalition negotiations, and the absence of finalized candidacies continue to cap separation in the market. Upcoming state-level conventions, any shifts in national Morena strategy, or emerging polling after candidate registration deadlines could quickly reorder probabilities by clarifying viable paths to the ballot and consolidating support among key voting blocs.
