Forecast models from sources including GFS and ECMWF consensus on a maximum temperature near 23–25°C for Istanbul on September 15, with partly cloudy skies, light to moderate northerly winds, and minimal precipitation risk driving the market's heavy weighting toward 23°C. This aligns with early-September climatology, where average highs hover around 23–24°C, and recent observations show stable conditions without strong warm-air advection or heat-wave signals. Short-term model runs exhibit limited spread, though minor revisions in boundary-layer moisture or cloud cover could shift the peak by 1°C. Traders appear to price in this consensus ahead of official station readings, which resolve the market based on the day's recorded maximum.
