Recent forecasts from multiple models, including GFS-based guidance, indicate a maximum temperature in Amsterdam on September 16 most likely reaching 18–19°C amid widespread cloud cover, scattered showers, and thunderstorms associated with a northwest flow. This setup follows warmer conditions earlier in the month and aligns closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 19.2°C for the date. Persistent moisture and limited solar heating under overcast skies have kept daytime peaks in check, with official monitoring and ensemble outputs showing little support for readings at or above 20°C or below 18°C. Market-implied odds reflect this narrow range of expected outcomes, with updates from meteorological agencies likely to refine the exact peak as observations accumulate through the afternoon.
