Recent ensemble forecasts from sources including the Pakistan Meteorological Department and international models point to a daily high of 31–32°C in Karachi on September 7, 2026, as the leading driver of market-implied odds favoring those outcomes. Westerly winds, moderate humidity around 60–80%, and limited cloud cover under post-monsoon conditions support this range, consistent with historical September averages near 32°C but tempered by below-normal rainfall signals and positive ENSO/IOD influences keeping temperatures only modestly above baseline. Low precipitation probabilities reduce cooling effects, while model consensus shows minimal risk of extremes above 34°C or below 30°C. Updated runs ahead of the date and any late adjustments in steering patterns could shift the exact peak.
