Persistent monsoon activity, including low-pressure systems over eastern India and widespread rain/thunderstorms, is suppressing daytime highs in Lucknow, positioning 30–32°C as the leading outcomes with combined implied probability exceeding 85%. Official forecasts from the India Meteorological Department and international models (Met Office, WeatherBug) indicate maximum temperatures near 30–31°C on September 4 under cloudy skies and 70–85% precipitation chances, consistent with recent observations of 2–4°C below-normal readings amid heavy early-September rainfall. Cloud cover and evaporative cooling limit solar heating, while historical September averages near 32–33°C provide context for the current anomaly. New forecast updates from the Regional Meteorological Centre could shift probabilities if rainfall decreases.
