Dalton Eatherly, known online as Chud the Builder, faces pending felony charges including attempted criminal homicide stemming from a May 2026 courthouse shooting in Clarksville, Tennessee, but no trial, plea, or conviction has occurred as of mid-August. The case advanced to the grand jury after a preliminary hearing, with bond set at $1 million (later posted via multiple sureties), though additional misdemeanor matters from a separate Nashville incident led to temporary revocation and hearings focused on social media activity and public safety considerations. Prosecutors must establish intent and elements of the offense amid reports of a mutual confrontation involving another individual, while standard Tennessee felony timelines, possible defenses, and procedural steps introduce substantial uncertainty. Traders price the "No" outcome at 84.5% based on the absence of any resolution to date and the extended path typical for such cases before a verdict.
