Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance point to a mid-70s overnight low in Dallas on September 4 under mostly clear skies and light southerly flow, supporting radiational cooling after daytime highs near 95°F. Trader sentiment remains split because subtle shifts in cloud cover from lingering moisture or weak frontal passages could limit cooling to the upper 70s or allow deeper drops into the low 70s or below, while historical September variability and the two-day forecast horizon introduce genuine uncertainty around exact minimum thresholds. Official guidance emphasizes typical late-summer humidity and heat indices near 100°F by day, with minimal precipitation risk expected to preserve clear nocturnal conditions.
