Recent forecasts from the Japan Meteorological Agency and other models point to a northerly flow of cooler, moist air over Tokyo on September 10, with widespread cloud cover, scattered showers, and limited daytime heating expected to keep the overnight low near 19–20°C. This marks a notable drop from recent days when minimums reached 21–23°C amid warmer southerly winds. Persistent humidity and precipitation further moderate nighttime cooling, aligning with historical patterns for early September under similar synoptic setups. Traders appear to favor the 19–20°C outcomes based on the latest model consensus, though minor shifts in wind timing or rainfall intensity could adjust the precise minimum recorded by official stations. Updated guidance ahead of the overnight period will provide the key inputs for final positioning.
