**Persistent late-summer heat and model consensus around 98–100°F are anchoring trader sentiment for the Dallas high on September 17.** Official NWS and private forecasts (GFS, local analyses) show mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions with southerly flow, highs near 98–100°F, and heat indices exceeding 105–110°F amid an extended dry spell and ongoing heat advisory. Recent days have featured multiple 100°F+ readings at DFW, consistent with above-normal September temperatures and minimal cooling influences. The 98–99°F bin leads at 61.5% implied probability, followed by 100–101°F at 26.5%, reflecting tight clustering of guidance with limited downside risk from 96–97°F (15%). No significant frontal passage or moisture surge is expected before resolution, though afternoon cloud cover or minor model shifts could nudge the exact maximum within the favored range.
