Current forecasts from National Weather Service models and local observations point to overnight lows in the mid-to-upper 60s for Los Angeles on September 16, driven by a persistent marine layer, light onshore flow, and high pressure suppressing stronger cooling. This setup favors the 68-69°F bin as the leading outcome, consistent with recent days' minimums near 65-67°F and slightly above the 1991-2020 average low of 63.7°F. Marine stratus and fog formation overnight limits radiative cooling, while any delay in cloud cover or wind shifts could push readings into the 70s or hold them near 66-67°F. Official LAX station data will resolve the market once the full diurnal minimum is recorded.
