The early stage of Campeche's 2027 gubernatorial race features a fragmented field of aspirants across Movimiento Ciudadano, Morena, PRI, PAN and smaller parties, with polls showing no dominant frontrunner. Trader consensus reflects this uncertainty, as internal party preferences and hypothetical matchups remain fluid—Eliseo Fernández Montúfar leads some MC measurements while Morena candidates like Pablo Gutiérrez Lazarus top others, yet overall party support splits narrowly between Morena and MC amid questions over the incumbent administration's performance. Recent surveys highlight competitive head-to-head scenarios and elevated undecided shares, keeping probabilities clustered near even. Nomination finalization, additional statewide polling, or shifts in local approval trends could begin to widen gaps before the general election cycle intensifies.
