Recent Met Office and BBC forecasts for London on September 19 indicate a daytime high of 21–23°C under mostly cloudy to overcast skies with light southwesterly winds and a chance of light showers or drizzle. Mild Atlantic air and moderate cloud cover are limiting stronger warming, while the timing of any breaks in cloud will determine whether the peak reaches the upper end of that range. These conditions align with the market’s heavy weighting toward 22°C (49.5%) and 21°C (25%), with 23°C (22%) as the next most favored outcome; higher or lower results remain low-probability given current model consensus and the absence of significant high-pressure ridging until later in the weekend. Updated guidance from official agencies will refine the exact maximum ahead of resolution.
