Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a peak temperature of 33°C in Shenzhen on September 19 as the most likely outcome, supported by partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies, light easterly or northeasterly winds, and minimal precipitation risk that day. This aligns with late-summer subtropical conditions under stable high pressure before a shift toward increased moisture and thunderstorms on the 20th. Current observations show daytime highs near 32–33°C with moderate humidity around 60–70%, consistent with climatological baselines for mid-September yet slightly above the long-term average high of about 30°C. Traders have assigned the highest implied probability to 33°C at 39.5%, followed by 32°C and 34°C, reflecting limited model spread and the narrow window before official verification. Updated numerical weather predictions from agencies like the China Meteorological Administration on September 18 will likely refine these odds ahead of market resolution.
