Forecast models from sources including ECMWF and GFS point to an overnight minimum near 12–14°C in Mexico City on September 19, driven by seasonal high pressure, light northerly winds, and variable cloud cover at the city’s 2,240-meter elevation. This aligns with typical September climatology, where average lows hover around 13°C. Trader sentiment remains split among 13°C, 14°C, and 15°C+ outcomes because urban heat-island influences and any light rain could shift the official station reading by 1–2°C. New observational data and model updates from Mexican meteorological agencies will likely refine probabilities as the night progresses.
