Recent forecasts from official and meteorological sources point to a typical late-summer marine layer pattern in Los Angeles on September 18, 2026, with morning low clouds and fog giving way to afternoon sunshine and southwest winds around 10-15 mph. This setup supports a daily high centered in the mid-to-upper 70s at Los Angeles International Airport and downtown stations, consistent with September climatology where highs average near 78°F. Model consensus and early observations, including overnight lows in the mid-60s and gradual clearing, have driven strong trader alignment on 76-77°F as the most probable outcome at 67.5% implied probability, with limited upside risk from stronger onshore flow or persistent cloud cover keeping 78°F+ below 12% combined. Upcoming afternoon observations will refine resolution near official NWS thresholds.
