Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a minimum temperature in the mid-60s Fahrenheit for Los Angeles on September 18, aligning with the market's leading 64-65°F bin at 49% implied probability. Clear skies overnight under a stable high-pressure pattern support moderate radiational cooling, while the persistent marine layer and southwest flow limit further drops, consistent with climatological norms of 63-64°F for mid-September at LAX. Recent observations show overnight lows holding in the mid-to-upper 60s amid above-average daytime warmth earlier in the month, with no significant frontal systems or anomalous heat expected to shift the range. Updated forecast runs through the evening of September 17 will provide the final inputs for resolution.
