**Current forecasts from multiple models, including GFS and ECMWF runs updated on September 16, point to a daytime maximum of 19–20°C in Munich on September 17 under post-frontal conditions.** Westerly to southwesterly flow following overnight and morning showers will limit warming, with partly cloudy skies and light winds (around 5–8 km/h) allowing modest insolation but preventing significant rebound from the rain-cooled surface. This aligns closely with the September climatological average high of 19.5°C and explains the market’s concentration on 20°C (31.5%) and 21°C (52.5%) as the leading outcomes. Recent model consensus has shown little spread, with most guidance holding the peak near 19–20°C and only modest upside risk if clouds clear earlier than expected. Trader sentiment therefore reflects high-confidence numerical weather prediction output rather than any anomalous atmospheric setup, with the implied probabilities tracking the narrow ensemble range typical for a short-range European mid-latitude forecast. Updated runs and observational data through the night of the 16th remain the key near-term catalysts that could refine these odds before resolution.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=eddm
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
