Recent National Weather Service and local forecast models indicate Denver's overnight low on September 18 will likely settle in the mid-50s°F amid scattered afternoon thunderstorms and increasing cloud cover that limits radiational cooling. Surface observations show dew points near 55°F and light winds, reducing the potential for sharper overnight drops, while historical September climatology places typical lows around 50–55°F. Trader sentiment remains closely split between sub-52°F and 70°F+ outcomes due to lingering model spread on storm timing and cloud persistence, with resolution hinging on official Denver International Airport readings after midnight. Updated guidance from the Boulder forecast office will further refine probabilities ahead of the 24-hour window.
