**Forecast consensus from the National Weather Service and private models points to mostly sunny skies over Houston on September 18, supporting a high in the mid-90s under light easterly flow.** This setup favors strong daytime heating from Gulf moisture and minimal cloud cover after any early-day residual humidity clears, consistent with recent mid-90s readings amid a warmer-than-average late-September pattern. The tight clustering between 92–95 °F outcomes reflects model agreement on peak temperatures while acknowledging minor uncertainty from exact timing of any sea-breeze influences or subtle wind shifts that could trim or boost the daily maximum by a degree or two. Historical September averages near 89 °F provide context, but current conditions and short-range guidance keep trader focus on the upper end of the typical range.
