Recent forecasts from meteorological services indicate Singapore's September 8 maximum temperature will likely reach 32–33 °C, aligning with the market's strong consensus on 33 °C. Equatorial conditions under prevailing southeasterly winds and dry southwest monsoon patterns support afternoon peaks near historical September averages of 31.6 °C, with limited cloud cover and low precipitation chances allowing greater solar heating. Recent dry spells and transboundary haze from regional fires have maintained clear skies without significant cooling from rain, though model runs show modest variability around intensification of daytime warmth. Official monitoring from NEA and international agencies highlights typical diurnal ranges, with resolution hinging on precise 24-hour maximum readings rather than feels-like values. Updated forecasts on September 7–8 will refine trader positioning ahead of market close.
