Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate a minimum temperature in the mid-60s °F for Chicago on September 6, driven by clear skies, light northeast winds, and radiational cooling under high pressure following a cooler air mass intrusion. This setup supports trader emphasis on the 61°F-or-below outcome at 34.5% implied probability, while nearby bins near 64–71°F cluster around 24–27% amid typical forecast uncertainty ranges of several degrees. Historical September 6 averages near 63°F provide context, yet current steering patterns and dew points near 60°F limit further cooling potential. Updated NWS model runs and evening observations will refine resolution thresholds ahead of overnight lows.
