Current forecasts from numerical models and observational guidance point to an overnight low near 68°F for Los Angeles on September 14, driven by a stable high-pressure pattern, light southeasterly winds, and limited marine layer cooling that keeps temperatures above the long-term average low of roughly 64°F. This consensus aligns with the market’s leading 68-69°F outcome at 66% implied probability. Traders appear to discount higher bins given the absence of unusual warming or blocking patterns, while lower outcomes remain possible only if fog or radiational cooling intensifies beyond current model runs. Updated NWS and GFS guidance ahead of the overnight period will provide the final inputs before resolution.
