**Official National Weather Service and private forecasts for Miami on September 1, 2026, converge on afternoon highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s, with showers and thunderstorms likely after midday.** This pattern, driven by typical late-summer instability, sea-breeze convergence, and high moisture (dew points near 78–81°F), caps temperatures through evaporative cooling and cloud cover, making 90–91°F the most probable outcome and explaining its 45.5% market share ahead of 88–89°F. Persistent easterly flow at 5–10 mph and heat indices above 105°F reflect the ongoing humid regime without signals of unusual warming or suppression. Model consensus shows limited spread, with afternoon convection the dominant variable that could trim peaks if storms develop earlier than expected. Updated NWS guidance and model runs ahead of the date will be the next key inputs for traders.
