Recent opinion polls for Berlin’s September 20 state election show Grüne consistently ahead of SPD by several points, with Grüne at roughly 16% and SPD at 13–15% in August surveys from INSA, Civey, and Infratest dimap. SPD support has remained subdued amid the national party’s broader challenges, while Grüne have held steadier in the capital’s urban electorate. This gap underpins the 72% trader-implied probability that Grüne will receive more votes. No major campaign events in the past month have reversed the trend, though final weeks of mobilization and turnout among younger and progressive voters could still narrow the margin.
