Current National Weather Service and private model guidance for Los Angeles on September 3 projects a morning marine layer with low clouds and fog giving way to partly to mostly sunny skies, southwest winds around 15 mph, and afternoon highs centered near 75 °F. This places the most likely maximum squarely in the 76-77 °F bin, consistent with the 1991-2020 climatological average of 76.7 °F and the absence of anomalous ridging or offshore flow that would drive higher readings. Ensemble spread remains narrow, limiting odds of 80 °F or above while also capping downside risk below 74 °F. Traders have aligned with this stable forecast consensus, reflected in the dominant 62.5 % market-implied probability for 76-77 °F.
