Forecast models from the National Weather Service and private providers show Miami under persistent easterly flow and high tropical moisture on September 2, with widespread afternoon convection and 70% storm chances limiting nighttime radiational cooling. Dew points near 77°F and light winds are expected to hold the daily minimum close to 80°F, consistent with late-summer climatology but above the long-term average low of roughly 77°F. Trader consensus splitting narrowly between the 78–79°F and 80–81°F bins reflects uncertainty in the precise timing and coverage of evening thunderstorms, which can either trap heat under clouds or permit brief clear intervals that allow an extra degree or two of cooling before sunrise. Updated model runs and local observations tonight will likely tighten the range ahead of market resolution.
