Recent National Weather Service and private forecasts for Miami on September 22 project highs in the mid-to-upper 80s amid scattered thunderstorms and high humidity, aligning with the market's leading 84–87°F bins. Persistent moisture from the wet season supports afternoon convection that typically caps temperatures through evaporative cooling and cloud cover, while south to southeast winds maintain a humid air mass with dew points near 75–78°F. Model consensus shows limited potential for stronger heating unless storms remain suppressed, consistent with the lower probabilities assigned to 88°F+. The broader pattern reflects a warm but moderated late-September regime, with traders weighting the high likelihood of typical convective suppression over any outlier intensification.
