Recent polling averages place the Social Democrats (S) in first place with roughly 32-34 percent support, followed by the Sweden Democrats (SD) near 18-20 percent, positioning the Moderate Party (M) as the consistent third. This ordering has held steady through mid-2026 surveys from Novus, SCB, and others, with the centre-left bloc holding a clear lead and the right-leaning Tidö parties trailing overall. With the September 13 election little more than a month away, limited scope remains for late swings to reorder the top three. Traders reflect this stability by assigning the Moderate Party an 82.5 percent implied probability for third place, while the Sweden Democrats sit at 16 percent and smaller parties remain negligible. No major campaign events or scandals have altered these standings in the past month.
