Current National Weather Service forecasts for Los Angeles on September 16 indicate a high near 76°F at coastal stations like LAX, with morning marine layer and low clouds giving way to partial clearing and southwest winds around 15 mph. This setup, typical for mid-September, moderates daytime maxima through Pacific sea breezes and keeps readings close to the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 76.2°F. Model consensus shows limited warming potential absent strong offshore flow, supporting the market's heavy weighting toward 76–79°F outcomes while allowing modest upside if fog clears earlier than expected. Updated guidance through the next 48 hours will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
