Recent polls ahead of Sweden’s 13 September 2026 parliamentary election show the Social Democrats maintaining a clear lead near 32 percent, followed by the Sweden Democrats near 20 percent, placing the Moderate Party consistently third near 17 percent. This ordering has held steady across multiple survey firms through July 2026, with limited movement in the smaller parties. The governing bloc of Moderates, Christian Democrats and Liberals, backed by the Sweden Democrats, continues to trail the centre-left opposition in aggregate support. No major scandals, leadership changes or economic shocks in the past month have altered these relative standings. Traders therefore price the Moderate Party as the strong consensus choice to finish third, while viewing any shift in second or third place as unlikely without a substantial late swing in voter intention.
