Recent Swedish opinion polls ahead of the September 13 parliamentary election show the Social Democrats maintaining a clear lead near 32 percent, with the Sweden Democrats consistently placed second around 20 percent and the Moderate Party third near 17 percent. This ordering has held steady across multiple surveys through July 2026, reflecting the Sweden Democrats' established position as the second-largest party by voter support after their strong 2022 performance and continued backing within the current right-leaning bloc. The Moderate Party trails due to lower standalone polling numbers relative to the Sweden Democrats, while smaller parties register negligible shares that make second-place finishes unlikely. Trader consensus on these probabilities aligns with the latest polling averages and bloc trends, with limited movement in recent weeks.
