The Baja California governor race remains highly fluid in its early phase, with trader odds reflecting a broad field of more than two dozen aspirants and no dominant frontrunner. Recent candidate registrations, including Morena-linked figures such as Joel Anselmo Jiménez Vega and Jesús Alejandro Ruiz Uribe alongside others from different parties, have kept probabilities clustered near 40-50 percent for leading names and lower for the rest. Internal party selection processes, potential coalition talks, and the absence of consolidated polling or endorsements continue to sustain this balance. Scheduled steps such as primary definitions or public surveys in the coming months could begin to separate contenders by clarifying support among key voter blocs and regional bases.
