Recent polls for Berlin's September 20 state election show a fragmented field with Die Linke, CDU, AfD, and Grüne clustered between roughly 16 and 22 percent, leaving third place highly sensitive to small shifts. Linke gains in summer surveys have frequently placed it first or second, compressing the contest among the next three parties and sustaining trader probabilities near 30-35 percent for AfD or Grüne in that slot. CDU support has held steadier but trails in several aggregates. The 5 percent threshold and undecided voters add volatility, while upcoming debates and any late movement in turnout among urban or eastern districts could reorder the middle rankings before election night.
