Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance indicate Atlanta's overnight low on September 1 will likely settle in the lower 70s under mostly clear skies, light variable winds, and elevated dew points near 70°F that limit radiational cooling. This setup supports the market's tight clustering around 72–75°F bins, as small differences in cloud timing or boundary-layer mixing could shift the minimum by 1–2°F. Warmer-than-average conditions relative to the 69°F climatological norm reflect persistent southerly flow and high pressure, with minimal chance of the sub-70°F readings that would require stronger nocturnal cooling or unexpected moisture. Traders are weighting the latest model runs showing highs near 94°F and minimal precipitation risk.
