Disney+ subscriber counts stood at approximately 132 million as of the most recent official disclosures in late 2025, with modest annual gains of roughly 6–7 million subscribers in prior periods. With only weeks remaining until September 2026 and no reported acceleration in growth, the platform remains far short of the 150 million threshold. Disney has also shifted away from detailed subscriber reporting, focusing instead on revenue and profitability metrics amid steady but incremental adoption of its ad-supported tier and bundled offerings. Trader consensus at 97.2% for “No” reflects this structural gap and the absence of any credible near-term catalyst capable of adding the required 15–18 million users in such a compressed window. While a blockbuster content slate or aggressive promotions could produce modest spikes, historical patterns and the current competitive streaming landscape make a sudden leap improbable; regulatory shifts or technical disruptions would more likely constrain rather than accelerate growth.

For the purposes of this market, the 150 million figure must be explicitly reflected in the total Disney+ paid subscriber count (combining both domestic and international subscribers) in Disney's official FY2026 10-K filing with the SEC, covering the fiscal year ending in September 2026. Analyst estimates, third-party projections, or figures from any other reporting period will not count.
If Disney's FY2026 10-K has not been officially filed with the SEC by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if the relevant figure is not included in the report, this market will resolve to "No."
The primary resolution source for this market will be Disney's FY2026 10-K filing on the SEC's EDGAR database (https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=0001744489&type=10-K).
