Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and models indicate a high near 91–93°F for Houston on September 12, driven by a stable mid-level pattern with southerly flow, abundant moisture (precipitable water above 2 inches), and diurnal seabreeze convection that limits full solar heating. Scattered afternoon thunderstorms are expected to cap temperatures while maintaining high humidity and heat indices above 100°F. This aligns with climatological norms near 90°F and recent model runs showing minimal day-to-day variability through the weekend. Market-implied odds favor the 92–93°F bin as the consensus outcome, reflecting the tight clustering of guidance around the low 90s with limited upside potential absent clearing skies or suppressed convection. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon model runs will provide the next key data points ahead of market resolution.
