Forecast models for Seattle on September 12 project a mild day with morning clouds transitioning to afternoon rain and highs centered in the mid-to-upper 60s. Onshore flow and a strengthening marine layer are expected to limit solar heating, while light northwest winds and 60-80% precipitation chances introduce evaporative cooling that caps afternoon peaks. Historical September 12 averages near 71°F contrast with this setup, where model consensus favors 66-69°F as the most probable range given persistent cloud cover. Trader positioning across closely matched 64-69°F bins reflects uncertainty in rain timing and any brief afternoon clearing, with official National Weather Service guidance serving as the primary resolution benchmark.
