Current National Weather Service forecasts for Houston on September 10 project a high in the lower 90s with a 50% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, positioning the 90-91°F bin as the market leader. This aligns with the seasonal average high of 90.3°F and recent model consensus showing partly to mostly sunny conditions early, followed by increasing cloud cover and convective activity that could limit peak temperatures. Recent hot days reaching the mid-90s reflect a lingering warm, humid pattern, but stronger storm potential introduces downside risk for traders favoring 88-89°F outcomes. Updated NWS briefings and short-range model runs over the next 48 hours will refine timing and intensity, directly influencing implied probabilities ahead of resolution.
