Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance points to a continued hot pattern across North Texas, with southerly flow and mostly sunny skies supporting afternoon highs near or slightly above 100°F on September 10. Ensemble forecasts cluster between 96–102°F, reflecting modest spread from variable cloud cover and isolated convection chances that could cap the peak. This aligns with trader emphasis on the 98–99°F and 100–101°F bins, as recent observations show Dallas highs running 8–12°F above the 91°F September climatological average. Updated model runs tomorrow morning will refine boundary-layer mixing and any outflow boundaries that might alter the daily maximum before official verification.
