Market-implied odds favor 33°C as Guangzhou’s highest temperature on September 10, reflecting ensemble forecast consensus from Chinese meteorological services and international models projecting daytime maxima near 32–33°C under partly cloudy skies with scattered showers. Northeast winds and rising humidity are expected to limit afternoon heating, aligning closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 32.4°C for the date. Recent model runs show a modest cooling trend from current conditions near 34–35°C, though brief clearing could allow brief spikes toward 34°C while heavier rain would cap readings at 31–32°C. Traders appear to balance these variables against historical variability, where September 10 highs have ranged from the mid-20s to 36.5°C. Further guidance from the China Meteorological Administration ahead of the event will likely influence positioning.
