Trader sentiment for Los Angeles's September 12 high clusters on 80–83°F because official observations at Los Angeles International Airport and nearby stations show morning marine-layer stratus clearing to partly sunny skies, with a strengthening sea breeze limiting inland heating. Recent NWS guidance and model consensus point to a peak near 79–82°F under moderate onshore flow, following a brief early-month heat spell that produced 99°F on the 9th. Differentiation between the leading bins hinges on the exact timing of maximum solar heating versus afternoon marine influence, plus microclimate differences between coastal and interior reporting sites; historical September averages near 76°F and low precipitation reinforce the moderate outlook while leaving room for small forecast revisions before final verification.
