Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Los Angeles on September 14 points to a high in the upper 70s, driven by persistent marine-layer influence and onshore flow that limits afternoon warming. Morning low clouds and fog are expected to clear gradually under light southerly winds, yielding highs near the long-term September average of 76°F rather than the hotter inland peaks seen earlier in the week. Ensemble forecasts show low spread and minimal risk of stronger offshore winds or clear-sky heating that could push readings into the low 80s or above. Updated model runs and official briefings in the next 24–48 hours will refine the exact maximum, keeping trader focus on the narrow 78–79°F bin as the most probable resolution.
