**Trader sentiment for Miami's lowest temperature on September 17, 2026, centers on the 76–79°F range, with 78–79°F holding the highest implied probability at 42.5%.** This reflects model consensus from sources like the GFS and National Weather Service forecasts showing overnight lows in the upper 70s to low 80s under typical late-summer conditions. Miami's subtropical maritime climate, with warm Atlantic and Gulf waters plus high humidity, normally limits nocturnal cooling. Historical data place the average low near 76.8°F, with recent Septembers often seeing minima of 75–80°F. Persistent northeast winds, scattered showers and thunderstorms, and cloud cover—forecast to continue through the night—further suppress temperature drops by trapping heat and adding moisture. No significant cold advection or clear-sky radiative cooling event is expected, keeping probabilities for 74°F or below modest (under 40% combined) and those below 72°F near zero. Higher outcomes above 80°F carry negligible weight, as daytime heating and the day's observed trend point firmly to overnight stabilization in the targeted band. Updated model runs and official briefings near resolution will be the key near-term drivers.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kmia
This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button.
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
