Official Hong Kong Observatory forecasts for September 17 point to a maximum of 31°C under sunny skies and moderate east winds associated with a strengthening high-pressure ridge, aligning with the market's leading 31°C outcome at 37% implied probability. Recent model consensus shows limited variability due to the stabilizing influence of the northeast monsoon and reduced moisture, keeping most guidance clustered between 30–32°C. September climatology for Hong Kong features average highs near 31°C, supporting trader positioning around this range while acknowledging potential for minor afternoon fluctuations from localized heating or wind shifts before final observations.
